On 12 October 2015, results of the Eduniversal annual ranking for the best 1000 business schools in 154 countries were announced and Faculty of Business & Accountancy (FBA), University of Malaya has again made its mark as the only business school in Malaysia being awarded 4 Palmes of Excellence. This award recognizes the Faculty as TOP business school with significant international influence for eight consecutive years since 2008 with 198% Dean’s recommendation rate.

The ranking system is based on Deans Vote within each Palme league annually. A Palme level is awarded based on a set of internationalization criteria covering aspects on accreditation, major rankings of business schools and membership in international and national academic associations. Within each country there are five levels of excellence recognized as Palmes of Excellence describing the international reputation of a school at national and global levels.

This 4 Palmes recognition signifies the quality and reputation of the Faculty as the best business school in the country, at par with other prestigious business schools in Boston University, Texas A&M University, Imperial College London and Lancaster University to name a few. This achievement is a result of the continuous commitment towards excellence and full supports from the Faculty members and the University management. The Faculty is aspired to improve further and strive for the 5 Palmes of Excellence in the future.
